One quiet way I’ve found to reconnect with myself — especially on days when journaling feels too heavy, or meditation feels too still — is through words. Not just affirmations or quotes (though I love those too), but puzzle words. Word searches. Crosswords. Those nostalgic, satisfying games that make you slow down and pay attention.
It sounds simple. And it is. But there’s something unexpectedly beautiful about it.
As you circle a word like kindness or worthy, something happens.
You start to believe it.
You start to absorb it.
You start to feel just a little more you again.
